 truck1.jpgtruck2.jpg

Spillman Company continues to provide a wide range of forms for the prestressed concrete industry. Included in recent projects were adjustable bulb tee forms, self-stressing inverted T-beam forms with hydraulic side rails, self-stressing stadium riser forms, and a variety of free-standing and self-stressing flat slab forms. For more than half of Spillman's 52-year history, we have produced formwork for the prestressed concrete industry.

Customers throughout North American rely on Spillman to quote, design, and furnish key formwork elements for parking decks, bridges, soundwalls, office buildings, and institution structures. Spillman has diverse experience in all phases of formwork for the prestressed concrete industry and is able to manufacture and deliver complex projects from its 27,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio.

Currently, Spillman Company is producing a series of flat casting tables that are 12'4" wide x 42' long for an automated carousel production system. These tables have been designed to complement the production of single walls and double walls modeled after the German construction industry. In addition, we have recently completed a group of eight self-stressing dual stadium riser forms for Sidley Precast of Thompson, Ohio for the new Pittsburgh Steelers stadium. Earlier this year, we also produced a series of bulb tee side rails with risers to allow for production of various depth castings from 55" - 72".

Whatever your specific formwork requirements, please feel free to contact us toll-free at 800/44FORMS. We can also be reached via fax at 614/444-1231 or via the Internet at www.spillmanform.com. We invite your inquiry and look forward to working with you in the very near future.

PCI STUDY TOUR 2000 - FRANCE

During the week of May 21st, twenty-eight men and twenty-two spouses representing PCI members from U.S. and Canada had an opportunity to visit Paris, the "City of Lights" as part of a two city, six plant tour organized by Spillman Company and our European partners - Weckenmann and Vollert. The group visited four plants in the environs of Paris that included two automated carousel plants, a hollow core plant, and an architectural plant. We also visited two plants near Strasbourg including a state-of-the-art carousel plant and a more conventional long line facility.

In addition to the plant visits, the entire group enjoyed a city bus tour, an evening dinner cruise on the Seine River, a day at Versailles, and the culture and cuisine for which Paris is world famous. Spillman Company, in cooperation with our German partners, was able to arrange the entire week to meet the group requirements of the PCI and to provide the attendees with a life long experience.
